The Performative Textile Initiative

Through this platform, participatory workshops are developed that function simultaneously as social art, artistic performance, social and material - based choreography and embodied learning environments. The projects can be understood as a laboratory within the studio — a series of exploratory pilot studies that form the foundation of Vildväv pedagogical approach. They investigate weaving as a form of expanded choreography and performative pedagogy. Each session becomes both a live performance and a study of embodied time, documented through photography, film, and textile artefacts.
